Privacy policy

Trainer Studio handles photos of people, so we keep as little as we can, for as short a time as we can. This page explains what we keep, why and for how long.

What we collect

• Your email address, and your name and email from Google if you sign in with Google.
• The date you accepted the terms.
• The selfies and Pokémon GO screenshots you upload. We remove location and camera data (EXIF) when you upload them.
• The stats we read from your screenshot, the Pokémon you pick and the scenes you write.
• The pictures we make for you, the result of our Pokémon check, your reports, and your credit history.

Why

Only to run the service: to sign you in, make and check your pictures, keep your gallery, keep your credit balance right, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your data, show ads or build face templates.

Your country for prices

When you open the buy page, we look up the country of your IP address in a database on our own servers, only to choose the currency and prices we show you. We don’t store your IP address or send it to anyone. You can pick another country on that page. IP geolocation by DB-IP.

Who processes it for us

• Supabase hosts our database, file storage and sign-in.
• Google (Gemini API) receives your photo, the official Pokémon artwork and your scene text to make each picture, and the picture to check the Pokémon in it. We ask Google not to store these requests, and on the paid Gemini API Google does not use them to improve its products.
• Google sign-in, if you choose it.
• Discord, where our team gets a private message when someone signs up, pays, reports a picture or asks for a review, with the account's email address, sign-in method, language, country and the link it came from, and for payments the amount and the type of payment method.

How long we keep it

• Selfies and screenshots: deleted automatically 30 days after upload. You can delete them sooner in the studio.
• Extra pictures made during our Pokémon check that you never see: deleted after 30 days.
• Your pictures: until you delete them.
• Credit history: as long as your account exists.

Cookies

We use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. If you arrive through a link from one of our social media accounts, one more cookie keeps the name of that link for 30 days, and if you sign up we save it with your account, to see which of our accounts bring people here. Clicks on those links are counted without storing anything about you. No advertising cookies.

To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and counts page views only in aggregate (the page, the site you came from, country and browser), without identifying you.

Your rights

You can see, download and delete your photos and pictures yourself at any time. You also have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to have your account deleted, and to complain to your data protection authority (in Portugal, the CNPD). To ask for any of these, reply to any email we send you.
