Credits

One balance for every mode.

Every picture has a fixed price in credits: 10 for a standard picture, 20 for a complete one (a My Card card, or any picture with your own background photo). You see the total before you press generate, and that is exactly what you pay.

For pictures we can’t finish

If we can’t finish a picture, its credits go straight back to your balance. The exception is a photo Google refuses, usually a well-known person or a still from a film or TV: that picture still uses its credits, and you can ask us to review the case.

To edit a card

Change the text of a card you made and re-draw it as often as you like. Only new art costs credits.

Only the choices listed above change the price. The picture style, the background style, the card layout and the card variant never do. The studio shows the total for your choices before you generate.

How you get credits

Buy a pack of 100, 250, 600, or 1,750 credits with a one-off payment: no subscription. Credits stay valid for 12 months from the day you buy them, and the ones that expire first are used first. New accounts start at 0 credits; there are no free credits or trials. Credits for pictures we can’t finish go straight back to your balance. The exception: a picture Google refuses to make with your photo still uses its credits.

Where to see them

Your balance is at the top of every page once you sign in, and your account lists every credit in and out.
